Our Story

Barnum Homes, LLC was founded in 2004 by Kelly Barnum, a lifelong Pacific County native with a passion for building things right. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, Kelly learned early that quality materials and honest work were the only way to build homes that stood up to the rain, the wind, and the test of time.

What started as a one-man operation quickly grew by reputation. Word spread that Kelly didn't cut corners — he used real CDX plywood when others were using OSB, oversized Douglas Fir joists when others were sizing down, and cedar trim primed on all six sides when others were just slapping up unprotected wood and hoping for the best.

His wife Stefaine joined the business and became the backbone of operations — keeping projects organized, clients informed, and everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Together, they turned Barnum Homes into one of Pacific County's most trusted custom home builders.

Today, with over 100 custom homes completed across 4 counties, Barnum Homes is still the same family business it's always been. Kelly still walks every job site. Stefaine still picks up the phone. And every home is still built the same way — with care, with quality, and with the commitment that you deserve better.

Pacific County is home. We live here, our kids go to school here, and our neighbors are our clients. That means we have a personal stake in every home we build.

We've built custom homes in Raymond, South Bend, Long Beach, Ocean Park, Ilwaco, and across the surrounding areas. We know the local terrain, the soil conditions, the permit offices, and the subcontractors worth trusting.
